GS5750 Hypalon rubber sheet

Hypalon is a trade mark of CSM (chlorosulfonated polyethylene). It exhibits almost complete resistance to ozone and excellent resistance to abrasion, weather, heat and crack growth. It has low moisture absorption and its chemical and oil resistant characteristics are similar to neoprene. It also offers excellent color stability and good dielectric qualities.

Like most synthetics, Hypalon is equal to or better than natural rubber at elevated temperatures. Abrasion resistance and flex life are good.

Hypalon is generally attacked by concentrated oxidizing acids, esters, ketones, chlorinated, aromatic and nitro hydrocarbons.

Applications:

Hypalon demonstrates long life in harsh environments, can be used in a wide range of industrial and automotive applications that require high performance and resistance to chemicals, temperature extremes, and ultraviolet light.

The sheets are widely applied to make seals, gaskets, linings for chemical processing equipment, variety of protective and decorative pads, etc.
