GS1000R1 Graphite sheet reinforced with tanged metal plate

GS1000R1 is made from expanded flexible graphite sheet GS1000, reinforced with a tanged (perforated) metal plate insertion of stainless steel 304 or 316 in 0.1mm thickness, or carbon steel in 0.20~0.25mm thickness. No adhesive is required to bond the graphite layers as the graphite material is fixed to the insertion by small, sharp teeth, resulting in a sturdy gasket material which is relatively easy to process and handle.

Properties:

Outstanding chemical resistance, good resistance to high and low temperature, long-term stability of compressibility and recovery independent of temperature, no cold or warm flow, good leakage properties, and unlimited storage life.

Applications:

It's an excellent material used for a wide range of industrial sealing applications including steam, hot water, thermal oils and hydrocarbons.
